The Writer's Corner

Everything here is from my imagination, Original writings, and therefore, you got it, copyrighted. Sorry, we writers who have to depend on our brains for our daily bread have to be a little... paranoid. I wish it weren't so. I wish we could just share what we create, without fear. It's a wide and sometimes brutal world out there, my dears.

Yet, where would we be without that brutality? How boring it would all seem, if we all lived perfect, sterile, safe lives. Never challenged. Never to feel the clutch of fear, or the creep of horror.

Never to experience the Angel wings of passion, or the Devil's kiss. Never to risk our souls, or sit in the laps of the Gods, waiting breathlessly for them to stand and send us tumbling to the earth.

Temptation is, after all, brutal. Brutal and very beautiful. How it tears at us, and lifts us, and throws us down. How much would we do, to feel the seducer's touch? How far would we wander, how much would we lose?

How far would you wander? How far will you go with me? Be careful: in my mind, there are many rooms, and they are not all pretty.
